How you get there by Waterbus and Arriva Bus
 

 
Coming from Utrecht
Take Bus 90 (operated by Arriva) from the Jaarbeurszijde bus terminal at Utrecht Central Station in the direction of Rotterdam Zuidplein. Please get off at the Molenkade bus stop on Kinderdijk. This bus trip takes less than 45 minutes. The entrance is only a short 2-minute walk from the bus stop.
Coming from Rotterdam
Take Bus 90 (operated by Arriva) from the Rotterdam Zuidplein underground station to Kinderdijk. Please get off at the Molenkade bus stop on Kinderdijk. This bus trip takes less than 45 minutes. The entrance is only a short 2-minute walk from the bus stop.

You can also decide to take the Waterbus – a fantastic experience in its own right! From 1 May to 31 October, during off-peak hours, Line 202 can take you from the Erasmusbrug stop in Rotterdam to the Molenkade stop in a mere 30 minutes. The Waterbus drops you off directly in front of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kinderdijk.

You can also take Waterbus Line 20 from Rotterdam to Kinderdijk. In this case, you need to transfer at the stop ‘De Schans’ in Ridderkerk to the Driehoeksveer ferry heading in the direction of the Molenkade stop on Kinderdijk. This brings your total travel time to some 40 minutes.

Coming from Dordrecht

Buses 18 and 19 (operated by Arriva) from Dordrecht Central Station both take some 40 minutes to travel to Kinderdijk. Please get off at the Molenkade bus stop on Kinderdijk. The entrance is only a short 2-minute walk from the bus stop.

You can also decide to take the Waterbus – a fantastic experience in its own right! From 1 May to 31 October, during off-peak hours, Line 202 can take you from the Merwekade stop in Dordrecht to the Molenkade stop in a mere 30 minutes. The Waterbus drops you off directly in front of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kinderdijk.
