Windmills in Kinderdijk mourn the death of prince Friso
The windmills of Kinderdijk are mourning as a sign of respect for the Dutch prince Friso, brother of our king. Friso died last monday. The windmills are halted in a slightly tilted position: the bottom end seems to be leaving the body of the windmill. All windmills in the Netherlands are mourning the prince, who was the patron of the Dutch Windmill Society. The prince visited Kinderdijk a couple of times. On our newspage a link to a documentary about windmills. At the start of the item the prince says some nice words about Kinderdijk.
